Cocktail Server – East Village Lounge
Join our team! Our East Village lounge is seeking experienced and energetic Cocktail Servers who are passionate about hospitality and creating an outstanding guest experience.
Part-Time
Fridays - Saturdays 7pm - 3am
Responsibilities
Provide friendly, attentive and professional service in a high-energy environment.
Take accurate drink and food orders using Toast POS.
Confidently describe cocktails, spirits, beer and menu offerings.
Make recommendations and use suggestive selling to increase sales.
Open and manage guest tabs accurately.
Deliver multiple drinks safely and efficiently.
Communicate clearly with bartenders, barbacks and other front-of-house team members.
Maintain clean, organized tables and service areas.
Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible-service standards.
Qualifications
Previous cocktail server experience in NYC is required.
Experience in lounges, cocktail bars or nightclubs is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and spirits.
Toast POS experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Energetic, outgoing and engaging personality.
Strong sales skills and attention to detail.
Ability to carry a tray filled with drinks safely.
Ability to remain calm, efficient and professional under pressure.
Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team.
Availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be at least 21 years old.
